	Installation Service of the New Chancellor, Dr. Dickson D. Chilongani, Held at Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma St John’s University of Tanzania officially welcomed its new Chancellor, Dr. Dickson D. Chilongani, during a solemn installation service held on May 20, 2025, at the Chief Mazengo Campus in Dodoma. The event was graced by the Archbishop of the Anglican Church of Tanzania, The Most Rev. Dr. Maimbo Mndolwa, alongside senior church leaders, university officials, and invited guests. A brief congratulatory reception followed the service to celebrate Dr. Chilongani’s appointment.
	On May 15, 2025, St John’s University of Tanzania made history by bidding farewell to its founding Chancellor, Retired Archbishop Donald Leo Mtetemela. The memorable occasion began with a heartfelt thanksgiving service, followed by a celebratory reception held at the Bishop Alfred Stanway Hall. The University community remains deeply grateful for his visionary leadership and foundational role in establishing SJUT. We wish him abundant blessings in his retirement.
	St John’s University of Tanzania emerged champions in the 2025 TUSA Championship held in Morogoro, winning both Netball and Football. Trophies presented to the Vice Chancellor and DVCPFA. The championship featured a total of six universities from across Tanzania, and our students made us proud by claiming victory in key sports disciplines
