University Admission Requirements
In order for a candidate to be admited to the University, at least one of the following criteria should me met:
A: Direct Entry Requirements
=>Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in five approved subjects, obtained
prior
to the sitting for ACSEE.
=>Advance Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes or
its equivalent.Applicant must have attained a total score of at least 4.5 points
(Where A= 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1 and S = 0.5).
=>Holders of Diploma from recognised and accredited institutions qualify for direct entry.
B: Mature Age Entry Requirements
Applicants with credentials which do not meet direct entry requirements must possess a favourable recommendation from their employer as well as passing the mature age entry examination administered by St John’s University of Tanzania.
