The Faculty of Humanities and Education

 The Faculty of Humanities and Education offers the following degrees:
 B.A. (Education) - History and Geography
 B.A. Education (History/Geography)

The Faculty of Humanities and Education offers a Degree programme in Education. This is a three years programme with majors either in History or Geography. The programme aims to equip students with better understanding and delivery of History and Geography teaching methodology. The programme covers six semesters of fifteen weeks each. For the future The Faculty is planning to start B.A Education programmes with majors in Kiswahili, English, French, Economics and Literature. A Graduate Diploma in Education is also being planned.
 Courses in Information and Communication Technology will be offered to students in all degree  programmes.

 What next?
  The programmes of the faculty are designed to meet current and future job requirements in both teaching institutions and non-teaching institutions and organisations.
  Students will be able to meet the following at the end of the programme:
