Criteria St.John's University

University Admission Requirements
In order for a candidate to be admited to the University, at least one of the following criteria should me met:

A: Direct Entry Requirements

Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) or equivalent with passes in five approved subjects, obtained prior to the sitting for ACSEE.
Advance Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) with at least two principal passes or its equivalent.Applicant must have attained a total score of at least 4.5 points (Where A= 5, B = 4, C = 3, D = 2, E = 1 and S = 0.5).
Holders of Diploma from recognised and accredited institutions qualify for direct entry.

B: Mature Age Entry Requirements
Applicants with credentials which do not meet direct entry requirements must possess a favourable recommendation from their employer as well as passing the mature age entry examination administered by St John’s University of Tanzania.
